Credit balance insurance for individuals from Desjardins Financial Security can help you cover a portion or the entire balance of your current transactions as well as the Accord D balance associated with your card, in the event of death, accidental dismemberment or first diagnosis of a critical or terminal illness. In the event of involuntary loss of employment or disability, it pays you a benefit corresponding to 10% of the balance of current transactions on your statement and your monthly Accord D payment up to $750. Furthermore, your spouse receives the same coverage, at no charge.

The Coast VISA Desjardins Authorized Payment Service lets you to pay your VISA account or Accord D monthly payments automatically at no additional cost. You may pay your balance in full or make partial payments.

Every month, the amount you've specified is withdrawn directly from a chequing account at any Canadian financial institution.

• Fixed payment amount (equal to or greater than 3% of balance or $10 minimum).
