Common Carrier Accident Insurance

You and family members are covered up to $125,000 in case of an accident while traveling aboard public transportation (air, sea or ground) resulting in mutilation or accidental death. Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Insurance

No matter where you are, you are covered at no extra charge when you pay for your car rental with your Coast VISA Desjardins Modulo GOLD card.

• The coverage, available at no cost, is provided automatically by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada on two conditions:
  • You use your Coast VISA Desjardins Modulo GOLD card to pay for the entire cost of your car rental of 48 consecutive days or less.
  • You decline the collision damage option offered in the rental contract.
• If you, or a family member, are the victim of a theft or an accident, compensation for property damage can equal the full value of the vehicle plus acceptable loss of use charges.
• Most vehicles are covered (limousines, for example, are not covered).

3 Day Complimentary Travel Insurance

Wherever you are, any time, day or night, you can count on VISA Desjardins' Travel Assistance Service

Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty

• Purchase protection replaces or gives you a full refund of nearly all goods bought anywhere in the world in case of loss, theft, damage or fire.
  • Within 90 days following purchase
  • Up to C$50,000
• The extended warranty doubles the length of manufacturer's warranties less than five years, for up to one year, on nearly all purchased goods covered by a written warranty honoured in Canada
