• Age 65 to 75: 14 days
• Age 76 or over: no coverage

This coverage, offered by the Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, is automatic when you use your Coast VISA Desjardins Odyssey GOLD card to pay for the entire cost of your car rental of 48 consecutive days or less, and provided you decline the collision damage waiver option offered in the rental contract.

In the event you or a family member are a victim of theft or an accident, the claim for property damage may equal the total value of the vehicle, plus acceptable charges for loss of use. Most vehicles are covered (limousines, for example, are not covered).

It is offered with the Coast VISA Desjardins Student, Coast VISA Desjardins Classic, Coast VISA Desjardins Modulo GOLD Card, VISA Desjardins Platinum, Coast VISA Desjardins Elegance GOLD and Coast VISA Desjardins Odyssey GOLD cards.

This coverage, offered by Lombard General Insurance Company of Canada, is automatic when you use your Coast VISA Desjardins Odyssey GOLD card to pay for your purchases.

The plan protects your purchases for 90 days against loss, theft, damages or fire. It provides a replacement or a full refund for almost all merchandise charged to your Coast VISA Desjardins Odyssey GOLD card, anywhere in the world, up to $50,000 per year per account.

The Extended Warranty Plan doubles the length of a manufacturer's warranty up to one additional year, for almost all goods purchased that have a written guarantee honoured in Canada. This is valid for an original manufacturer's warranty not exceeding five years. For example, a six-month warranty doubles to one year, a one-year warranty doubles to two years, but a five-year warranty only extends to six years.
