Eligibility

Who is eligible?

You are eligible if you are a Coast VISA Desjardins Odyssey GOLD, Coast VISA Desjardins Elegance GOLD, Coast VISA Desjardins Classic or a Coast VISA Desjardins Student cardholder.

If you take out Credit Balance Insurance, your spouse is automatically eligible and is insured free of charge whether or not he/she is a joint cardholder.

Until what age can I enrol?

You can enrol in Credit Balance Insurance up to age 64 inclusively.

Must I answer health-related questions?

When you enrol, you are not required to answer questions about your health. The same applies to your spouse. However, benefits may be limited due to pre-existing medical conditions.

How do I enrol?

You can enrol when you fill out the online application for a Coast VISA Desjardins credit card in the space reserved for that purpose, or by calling toll free 1-877-647-5245.
